Harpe Technologies is a business development agency. Mirroring the Government policy on attracting technologies, we partner with foreign companies to create Irish subsidiaries, attract public and private, national and overseas investment for each company, and manage the required resources both within the company and in the R&D infrastructure to produce the necessary knowledge, IP, value, jobs, and exports. Harpe technologies provide a privileged location in the heart of the medical device industry in Galway, a multidisciplinary technological and engineering skilled team, and a strong track record of business development history.
Harpe technologies have created and managed the two first editions of the successful Exhibition and Conference Medical Technology Ireland
(http://www.medicaltechnologyireland.com/) for the British organisers. The 2018 Exhibition attracted more than 2000 attendees and 200 exhibitors, most of which have already signed in for 2019. We are currently organising and commercialising a Polymers in Medical Exhibition for next years, in conjunction with the recurring Plastics Conference in Athlone.
We are members of the Galway Chamber of Commerce (https://www.galwaychamber.com/), the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC), and the Irish Medtech Association (https://www.irishmedtechassoc.ie/). We work with the two government agencies for development: Enterprise Ireland (link) which helps domestic companies growth and exports, and IDA (https://www.idaireland.com/) which promotes foreign investment and attracts companies into our country.
We have strong links with the 3rd level institutions in the area, like the National University of Ireland in Galway (NUIG), The Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT), the Centre of Research in Medical Devices (CURAM), and other Centres of Excellence of the Science Foundation of Ireland (SFI).
All that means that we can offer all the required networking and connections to make a successful landing of operations in the country, at any intensity or level, and more specifically in the medical devices sector, including cardio-neurovascular, orthopaedics, other devices and pharma.
We have expertise in a broad range of Medical Device areas in the biomedical and life sciences and can advise you on both the Medical Device and Business aspects of your new venture. Contact our Medical Device Consultants if you are planning on starting a business or if you are already underway and just looking for a fresh, unbiased perspective or need support in strategic decision-making. The Harpe Technology team can provide you with a free consultation to see how we can help you bring your innovative ideas to the marketplace.
